July Artist Feature- Tutela Handbags

Tutela Handbags, located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, was created in 2002 by Christiane White and Jill Mustoffa. Christiane and Jill both have multi-faceted backgrounds as vintage collectors, retailers and apparel designers. Their backgrounds have given them the knowledge and inspiration for their unique line.




Jill and Christiane started their line of handbags, using a collection of vintage fabrics creating a limited edition and one-of-a kind handbags. Each handbag is vintage-inspired. They are able to offer more handbags, but each bag is still unique, with the print placement different on each bag. They both work hard to provide the best quality and durability.



Each piece is treated with a urethane coating. This special laminate is infused into the fabric, which make the bags waterproof, washable (in a delicate/hand wash cycle), dry cleanable, and mildew-resistent.



What makes each handbag, wallet clutch, and pocket piece so unique is that once they run out of a certain fabric they do not reorder it. This not only keeps their line fresh, but it ensures that no matter which style you choose, you are guaranteed to carry an individual piece of art with you.
