February Artist Feature- Good Fortune

Good Fortune set roots in Chattanooga, Tennessee and grew under the care of owner, Jennifer Jack. Ms. Jack recently decided to restore her family's old dairy barn in hopes of opening her own production studio and store front, which is located in Athens, Tennessee. She is completely self-taught and out of her passion for art, including design and photography, Good Fortune was born. Jennifer wanted a career that not only fed the mind but the body and spirit. She wanted to create products that could touch people lives, not only on a physical level but on a spirtitual level as well.

She desired to create products that are uplifting, with all-natural ingredients and healing essential oils while using recycable packaging. Jennifer Jack feels very passionately about working with products that are eco-friendly. "Thinking green is a way of life for us," stated Ms. Jack. Good Fortune uses natural plant-based ingredients that nourish and cleanse without over drying or irritating the skin. Did you know that your skin is the largest organ of your body, with approximately 300 million skins cells covering 21 feet? That's a lot of skin to care for! That is why at Good Fortune they believe in a better way of life: clean living, living simply, living responsibly, and caring for each other and the earth.

Ms. Jack loves to serve others and to reach out to those in her our community who might otherwise not have the opportunity, or the means to enjoy the simple luxuries in life that many of us take for granted. "We want to pay it forward, so we take pride in giving to both global and local communities." Jennifer works with Chattanooga Shelters for Women and Orphans. You can sponser those in need by purchasing a Good Fortune bar of soap and a wash cloth, which is then donated to a woman or a child in need. Good Fortune is also partners with various charitable organizations to help grant wishes for sick children, alleviate hunger and poverty and support missions around the world. With every purchase of Good Fortune a portion goes to supporting a cause. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving.
